Welcome to the website of the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office. We are a full service law enforcement agency serving Transylvania County in Western North Carolina. Transylvania County is approximately 30 miles southwest of Asheville, North Carolina. Our office is located in the City of Brevard on Morris Rd off of Asheville Hwy. Transylvania County has a population of 30,187 (2008 data) and is 379 square miles in size.

Our mission is to provide general law enforcement, investigative, detention, and court services, as mandated by the North Carolina Constitution, to our residents and visitors.
